upcoming National Football Foundation All-Star Classic.

This new all-star game comes as a replacement for the Empire Challenge, which had been organized by the Boomer Esiason Foundation for 24 years before being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The National Football
Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fameโs New York City chapter are now taking the reins, aiming to deliver a similar experience for athletes.

According to Marc Hudak, president of the National Football Foundationโs NYC chapter, the leadership may have changed, but the goal remains the same.

โWe want the student-athletes to get the same treatment as they did with Boomer,โ he said. Plans are in place to honor Esiason by naming the gameโs MVP after him to respect his contributions to the sport.

Pete Blieberg, from the National Football Foundation also chairs Section XII Athletics and is coordinating the event. He has extensive experience from his time running the Empire Challenge.

Try out for the Long Island Elite National Team and play a fall schedule of teams in BTS outside of New York. When the BTS season is over you will play in the Turkey Bowl Thanksgiving weekend, the annual New Year's
Bowl which in the past has been in Texas, Delaware, Virginia, Georgia, and other hotbeds around the country, and you will play in a number of other events through the year, finishing with the annual Liberty Challenge at Columbia University.ย

always has been raising the level of football in Long Island, providing more advanced opportunities and education for football players, and preparing players for the highest level of High School and College football while raising men with class and integrity.
