We are blessed to have coaches with a wealth of experience and over the years we are continually accepting applications to coach and adding to our staff. We are always looking to deliver a coaching and development experience like no other. You will not find a more qualified staff
on Long Island to develop football skills while at the same time reinforcing good character traits.
We support our elite coaches strongly and in many instances where recreational type leagues would likely turn their back on them. There are coaching nuances when playing at the elite level of youth football that
are simply not part of recreation ball culture.
Recreation style football culture is based on equal playing time for all players, wussified rules to the game (no shooting gaps at younger ages, no one over the center, modified schemes, no special teams, coaches are
allowed on the field, etc), minimum number of plays, neighborhood politics, and neighborhood relationships.
There is nothing wrong with recreation league football, this isn't a judgement call. Recreation ball serves its purpose. It provides a haven for kids that just
want to play a fun season of football during the fall, parents that want to socializes, and dads that want to coach their kids. They aren't looking to play competitively or travel outside of their local area.
Elite football is exactly the same as how youth football is run in the football hotbeds of the country like Texas, Florida, Georgia, and California. It is for the football obsessed. The fanatical parents, players, and coaches.
ELITE FOOTBALL IS BASED ON MERITS
ONLY.
